Stories That Matter…More To Come

Plume  “Many stories matter. Stories have been used to dispossess and to malign. But stories can also be used to empower, and to humanize. Stories can break the dignity of a people. But stories can also repair that broken dignity.”
– Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

The month of June taught us that stories matter.  Thank you for reading and honoring our refugee friends’ stories throughout the month of June.  If the stories moved you, inspired you, or simply made you think please join with us in being part of the stories of refugees here in Western Washington.  If you would like to volunteer with refugee families please contact volunteerseattle@wr.org

Stay tuned for more stories told by refugees themselves about their lives, their journeys and hopes.

Thank you for engaging,
– World Relief Seattle
